Student Worker Opportunities

WTUR

Our campus radio station is a 24/7 online station. Each year the radio station hires 6 paid staffers. Staffers may also receive academic credit. Advisor for the radio station is Kathy Bruner. Email her at ktbruner@taylor.edu for more information. Current station manager is Devin Smith.

Envision Productions

Envision Productions is our in-house production team that creates film and television programming for campus event and for clients. They produce all chapels, and they create a variety of productions in support of the Envision Film Festival and other campus events. John Bruner hires these students. See him if you’re interested in one of the four paying positions.

Lab Assistants

Every semester we hire lab assistants who do equipment checkout, supervise the Mac lab and assist with troubleshooting in editing suites. Josh Taylor supervises the lab assistants and he receives lab assistant recommendations from FMA faculty. Generally, lab assistants should have had both Audio Production and Film & Video Production before expressing interest in the position.

Engineering Assistants

Josh Taylor hires 1-2 technically savvy students to assist him with engineering tasks. Speak with Josh if you have had prior experience with wiring, soldering, or I.T. functions.

Student Assistant Jobs

The FMA professors hire student assistants each semester to help with grading, dept. promotion/marketing, research, and various tasks. Students interested in applying should talk to the FMA faculty directly.
